Parts Store Person - Sydney Airport Workshop

As a Parts Store Person, you will: 

  • Efficiently receive and dispatch goods.

  • Proactively maintain housekeeping standards in the parts store.

  • Assist with collating orders for internal service staff.

  • Conduct timely and accurate processing of paperwork including invoices, purchase orders, transfers, etc.

  • Collaborate with service technicians regarding their request for parts & accessories.

  • Assist in rolling stock takes.

  • Promote a safety-first approach.

  • Monitor and engage couriers for dispatch and collection of goods. 

To be successful in this role, you will have most of the following skills and experience:

  • Exposure to Automotive or Heavy Vehicle aftermarket parts.

  • Hands-on experience in stock control.

  • A motor trade or engineering background would be highly regarded.

  • Experience working within procedural guidelines.

  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to converse on all levels.

  • Excellent communication skills and phone manner.

  • Forklift License or the will to obtain.

  • Strong organisational skills and problem-solving ability.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and forward planning skills.

  • Competent computer skills, including experience with MS Office Suite (SAP experience would be advantageous)

  • Current and valid driver’s license.

  • Able to pass a Police check.

  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical check.

  • A positive attitude and proactive mindset, with the ability to work autonomously as well as being a good team player. 

→ Pre-employment police and medical checks are mandatory for this position.
